The Care Guide
Extend the life of your favorite knitwear by washing it correctly and less frequently. Learn how to care for your Artknit pieces and help reduce your environmental impact.
1. WASHING
Turn the garment inside out and hand wash it for ten minutes at 40° maximum. If your garment is with Cashmere or Wool, we recommend using a specific detergent.
2. DRYING
We do not recommend using a tumble dryer, which may cause damage to the knit. Remove excess water from the piece by rolling it in a towel and pressing gently. Lay it flat and let it dry at room temperature, avoiding direct contact with the sun.
3. IRONING
To remove creases, use steam from an iron by holding it about an inch away from your piece, without resting it directly on the knit. This method not only removes creases but also refreshes the piece between uses.
4. STORING
Proper storage is key to maintaining the shape and quality of your pieces. When storing them in the closet, fold them on a shelf rather than hanging them.
